Govt Drowns 10 illegal Fishing Boats in the End of Year

medcom.id, Jakarta: Illegal Fishing Eradication Task Force (Satgas 115) drowned ten illegall fishing boats simultaneously in four different locations. The drowning were done in Tarakan, Tahuna, Belawan and Talempa.
 
Satgas 115 Chief Vice Admiral Widodo said there were boats from Malaysia and the Philippines in the list although most of the boats were from Indonesia. However, most of the crew were Filipino.
 
"Illegal fishing crimes using boat with Indonesian flag but foreign crew," Widodo said, in Ministry of Marine and Fisheries, Jakarta, Thursday (12/31/2015).
 
This is the list of the drowned illegal fishing boats:
 
1. FB. Small Dave 85 GT from the Philippines
2. FB. Boko Boko 30 GT from the Philippines
3. KHF 1868 85 GT from Malaysia.
4. JHF 8429 T 110 GT
5. KMm Pahala 02 2 GT from Indonesia.
6. KM. Cina Bahari 04 2 GT from Indonesia.
7. KM. Motor 09 1 GT from Indonesia
8. KM. Cinta Bahari 07 2 GT from Indonesia.
9. KM. Cinta Bahari 12 1 GT from Indonesia.
10. KM. Cinta Bahari 09 1 GT from Indonesia.
 
Widodo added the task force some of the boats were drowned without using explosives. They drowned it by burning instead. "Like in Tahuna, Belawan and Tarempa. They burned the boats," he concluded.
