Bengkulu to Prepare Railway Project

Metrotvnews, Bengkulu: The Bengkulu provincial administration will prepare a railway project to boost the province's economy.
 
"We should realize this big project," Bengkulu acting Governor Rohidin said in Bengkulu City on Wednesday.
 
The project will span around 168 kilometers. It will connect Pulau Baai Port with Bengkulu City.

The project will be carried out by PT Pelni II, PT Trans Rentang Nusantara and PT INKA. It will be completed by 2018.
 
The project will cost around Rp11 trillion. It will transport various commodities, especially coal.
