medcom.id, Jakarta: Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil decided he will not participate in 2017 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election. He wants to concentrate with his job in the West Java's capital.
"I will not run for Jakarta Governor position," he mentioned during press conference at Bandung City Hall, Monday (2/29/2016).
Ridwan explained he plans to run for West Java Governor position or continue as Bandung Mayor for second term.
Ridwan is one the main contender for Jakarta election. He gets support from Gerinda Party.
Several figures has revealed their intention to compete in the election including recent Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok'Tjahaja Purnama, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and Crescent Star Party Chairman Yusril Ihza Mahendra.
