FPI Leader to Testify in Ahok's Blasphemy Trial

medcom.id, Jakarta: The trial of the blasphemy case of Jakarta Governor Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama will resume on Tuesday.
 
The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) leader Rizieq Shihab will appear as one of the expert witnesses. The controversial cleric will testify against the Jakarta governor.
 
"We will anticipate the crowd," Jakarta police spokesperson Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said in Jakarta on Monday.

"We may deploy more personnel," he continued.
 
The high profile trial usually attracts a large number of people.
