Jokowi 'Fled' When Questioned About Cabinet Reshuffle

medcom.id, Jakarta: Rumors on Jokowi-JK cabinet reshuffle have increasingly become familiar. Even the names of the to-be-suspended ministers have reached the ears of public.

Nevertheless, there is still no confirmation from the state palace about the reshuffle. Even President Joko Widodo, as the holder of the prerogative right, often evaded from media when asked.

An example of this was after the opening of the Association of Indonesian Regency Administrations (APKASI) International Trade and Investment Summit (AITIS) 2015 in JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Wednesday. Jokowi gave press statement, but when asked about the reshuffle issue, the president 'escaped' to the presidential car.

He chose to head for the Central BPKP office in Pramuka Street, East Jakarta, rather than answering the questions from the press. At the venue, Jokowi officiated the opening of a national coordination summit of the internal supervision of the government in 2015.

Previously, Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjajanto was reluctant to discuss which ministers to be reshuffled. The officials have all been silent to mass media. "It is an internal discussion. Some of them are being processed and unavailable to public," Andi said. (Eps)
