medcom.id Jakarta: The counter flow at Pulogadung Terminal up to D+3 of Eid holiday has increased compared to last year. Up to Monday (7/20/2015), there have been over 6,000 passengers entering Jakarta through the terminal.
Based on the data of the Central Coordination of Holiday Travel Monitoring of the Ministry of Transportation, up to D+3 of Eid, there were 6,731 counter flow passengers entering Jakarta through Pulogadung terminal using 386 buses. It increased from last year, which accounted 6,380 passengers using 408 buses.
"Pulogadung terminal was successful last year, as I hope the same for this year. We will continue the coordination with related parties to avoid obstacles," said the Head of Pulogadung Terminal Simon Ginting, Tuesday (7/21/2015).
The descriptions of passengers entering the terminal since D+1 of Eid this year is as follows: Saturday July 18, 798 passengers using 93 buses, while on July 19, 2,443 passengers were recorded to enter using 165 buses.
On Monday, July 20, according to temporary data, was the most crowded inflow of passengers into Jakarta through Pulogadung. It was recorded that at around 3,520 passengers arrived with 128 buses.
This Tuesday, passengers entering Pulogadung Terminal was predicted to be more than the previous day's, as on Wednesday, July 22, civil servants and private companies workers are starting to work following the end of the official holidays. (EPS)
