medcom.id, Jakarta: Muhammad Saleh has been officially inaugurated as the Regional Representative Council (DPD) Speaker.
Saleh was inaugurated by Supreme Court (MA) chief Hatta Ali this morning (10/12) at the Parliament Complex Building.
"I will fight for regional aspirations," said Saleh during inauguration ceremony.
Irman Gusman was discharged from speaker position earlier this month. He was arrested by The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) last month.
Saleh is a senator from Bengkulu Province.
