medcom.id, Jakarta: Vice President Jusuf Kalla has indicated President Joko Widodo will announce definitive Energy and Mineral Resources Minister in the near future.
"President will decide soon," Kalla said at his office in Jakarta on Friday (9/30).
Jokowi discharged Arcandra Tahar last month due to citizenship issue. He then ordered Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan to hold the position temporarily.
Rumors emerged that Jokowi will appoint Ardian Nengkoda. He is an oil and gas expert who currently works at Saudi Aramco.
"I never hear his name (Ardian)," Kalla said.
