medcom.id, Purwokerto: The Police organized the Patuh Candi Operation to lower traffic violations. Nevertheless in Purbalingga, violators would avoid tickets if they are able to recite Pancasila perfectly.
The unique traffic operation was organized by Purbalingga Police Resort Traffic Unit, Central Java, as they stopped several motorcycles going across the protocol lanes in Purbalingga.
The police then checked their vehicles, including the ownership certificates and driver's license.
For vehicles breaking the regulation or riders not carrying proper certifications, the police did not directly imposed tickets. These riders have to recite Pancasila.
Following clear and perfect recitation of Pancasila, the offenders were reminded to complete their vehicle's necessities before being released.
In this operation, dozens of offenders were caught for not being able to show vehicle registration certificate or their driver's licenses. Yet, the unusual operation gained appreciation from motorists. (Eps)
