medcom.id, Jakarta: Juri Ardiantoro was elected as General Election Commission (KPU) head on Monday, July 18.
The former University of Indonesia (UI) professor was elected by other KPU commissioners in a meeting. He replaced Husni Kamil Manik who passed away early this month.
"Our leadership is collective and collegial," Juri said at KPU's official website, on Tuesday (7/19/2016).
Juri has joined KPU since 2013. Before that, he led Jakarta KPU office.
