medcom.id, Jakarta: Deputy Head of NasDem Party Fraction in the People's Representative Council (DPR) Johnny G. Plate hopes that the legitimation of the 2016 State Budget will not be postponed. There are other crucial problems to be discussed in the subject of State Budget Proposal.
"Among others the nomenclature of the reserve budget, DAK, which consist of an effort to place the Proposal of Electoral Region Development Program (UP2DP)," said Johny when contacted on Friday (10/23/2015).
The UP2DP proposal had caused controversy, as the House takes over the government's authority in proposing the budget. It is considered to be not in the spirit of the State Financial Law, as rejected by the NasDem Fraction in the General Assembly.
On the other side, said the member of Commission XI, the general assembly schedule of 2016 State Budget Proposal Legitimation previously scheduled on Thursday, October 22, was postponed to October 30, or the final day of the current period's assemblies.
"Should the House fails in legitimizing 2016 State Budget Law on October 30, it will interrupt the entire government programs for 2016," said Johnny.
He hopes that the ongoing discussion in the Budgeting Committee and commissions are to be completed.
"We hope the House's fractions may complete the 2016 State Budget Proposal on time, to produce a pro-people 2016 State Budget," Johnny said.
