medcom.id, Jakarta: Lawmakers are optimistic that the parliament can complete the General Election Bill on schedule.
"We will continue committee level meetings," the General Election Bill Special Committee vice chairman Riza Patria said in Jakarta on Tuesday.
"We will address several issues," he continued.
The parliament received the bill last October. The parliament must finalize the bill before April.
Most big political parties want higher parliamentary threshold. Meanwhile, most small political parties want smaller parliamentary threshold.
