medcom.id, Jakarta: The North Jakarta District Court held the second hearing of blasphemy trial of Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja purnama (Ahok) today.
The prosecutors refused the exception plea from the defendant. They insisted the expection plea is baseless.
"The exception plea must be rejected," chief prosecutor Ali Mukartono said on Tuesday (12/20).
The judges will resume the trial next week. They will decide whether the case will proceed.
"It will be continued next Tuesday (12/27)," chief judge Dwiarso Budi Santriarto said.
"The defendant must be present," he stated.
