medcom.id, Jakarta: Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama's (Ahok) approval rating is increasing. The number is based on the survey run by Populi Center this month.
Populi Center researcher, Nona Evita said the satisfaction level to the performance of Jakarta administration rose from 70 percent in February 2016 to 73.3 percent in April 2016.
Meanwhile, the satisfaction level to Ahok's performance increased from 73.5 percent in February 2016 to 73.7 percent in April 2016.
According to Nona, Ahok's approval rating moved up to 81.5 percent this month.
"The trend, although fluctuating, is still stable," said Nona at the Populi Center Office, Jakarta, Monday (4/25/2016).
Nona explained that the survey was held from April 15 to 21. The survey method was an interview with 400 respondents in six Jakarta areas, comprising of North Jakarta, South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Kepulauan Seribu.
The survey is meant to see the public support trend in Jakarta."The survey uses a multistage random sampling with the margin of error at around 4.9 percent, with the trust level of 95 percent," she concluded.
