medcom.id, Singapura: Following a critical condition caused by heavy injuries sustained from a helicopter crash, Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, Burhan Muhammad, passed away.
The sad news was delivered by Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi through a short message, early Tuesday morning (5/19/2015).
Innallillahi wa innallillahi rojiun, Indonesian Ambassador Burhan Muhammad has passed away in Singapore, at 00.50 on May 19, 2015.
May the soul of the deceased be given a good resting place in Heaven, as the dearly departed family gained strength in accepting this grief.
As the helicopter in which he flew crashed in Pakistan, on May 8, ambassador Burhan suffered massive burn injuries in more than 70 percent of his body. The Indonesian Foreign Ministry had transferred his treatment and care from Pakistan to Singapore.
In addition, his wife, Heri Listyawati, had died during the accident. Among the deceased are the Philippines Ambassador and Norwegian Ambassador to Pakistan, as well as the Malaysian Ambassador's wife and three Pakistani crews. (Eps)
