medcom.id, Jakarta: The Transportation Ministry will investigate the recent incident at the Kualanamu International Airpot.
Lion Air and Wings Air clipped wings on Thursday morning. The incident caused no casualty.
"We will invetigate the incident thoroughly. We will prevent similar incident in the future," the Transportation Ministry air transportation director general Agus Santoso said in Jakarta on Friday.
Both planes were slightly damaged due to the incident. All passengers were immediately evacuated by the airport authority.
"They are safe and secure," the Kualanamu International Airport communication manager Budi Setianto said in Deli Serdang yesterday.
The Kualanamu International Aiport is the largest airport in Sumatra. It is located in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.
