medcom.id, Jakarta: Member of the Clean Indonesia Committee (Komite Indonesia Bersih), Adhie Massardi stated the construction of railways in the ports are to clear out the dwelling time process, as it will shorten the time up to 25 percent.
"Very efficient and fast that the dwelling time in the ports would be swift. As it docks, in a matter of hours the goods may exit the port. It will be helpful for the flow in the port," said Adhie in a senator forum for the people with the theme of "What and who is the port Mafia? How can it be beaten?" in Dua Nyonya restaurant, Cikini, Jakarta, Sunday (8/30/2015).
The railway tracks will minimize and create the clean flow of outputs and inputs up to 25 percent. Aside from that, he also mentioned other effect, which is reducing the traffic up to 10 percent.
"It will reduce the traffic of more than 10 percent in Jakarta. It can go directly to the destination. At the port itself, it could be reduced by 25 percent," he deliberated.
Previously, the Coordinating Minister of Maritime, Rizal Ramli said he will build railway tracks for the acceleration of unloading process. The use of train will break the traffic at Tanjung Priok Port.
