Gerindra Will Not Join Ruling Coalition: Senior Member

medcom.id, Jakarta: Gerindra Party politician Sodiq Mujahid has underlined that Gerindra will not join the ruling coalition. 
 
"Gerindra will stay outside the ruling coalition," Sodiq said here on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.
 
"We will conduct checks and balances," Sodiq continued.

Previously, Gerindra Party chairman Arief Puyono claimed that Gerindra will receive four ministerial positions.
 
"Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Agriculture Minister, Manpower Minister and Presidential Chief of Staff," Arief stated.
 
Gerindra Party is the third largest party in the country. It has 73 seats in the parliament.
