medcom.id, Jakarta: The police found 36 Crystal Methamphetamine capsules inside the gut of Okeke Austin Chukmuwa. The Nigerian was killed after cutting open his own stomach to pull out the capsules.
"35 capsules are still solid, and one broke, leaving only the capsule condom," said the Chief of Benda Police Resort, Police Commissioner Heddi Mangasi as quoted by Jakarta Police Public Relation website, Friday (6/5/2015).
Austin had a chance to excrete 11 capsules after tearing his own gut on May 30 evening. Then the police found 21 other capsules at the toilet waste dump of the Ibis Hotel where he was staying.
"The number of Crystal Meth capsules found at the crime scene was 32 capsules, added with those found in the stomach as many as 36 capsules. This means Austin swallowed a total of 68 capsules," the Chief Police Resort explained.
Austin's body is still at the Kramat Jati National Police Hospital, East Jakarta. Nigerian Embassy planned to transfer the body today to a funeral home today.
He had arrived in Jakarta on May 30 morning, then checked in at Ibis Hotel next to the Soekarno-Hatta airport at around 10.00AM local time. The 25-year-old went berzerk in the afternoon as he ran out of his room naked.
He broke the hotel windows and smashed a car in the basement with a wooden log, then he walked towards the highway. He was killed after tearing his stomach with a piece of glass from the hotel window. (EPS)
