medcom.id, Surabaya: Incumbent Tri Rismaharini-Whisnu Sakti Buana won Surabaya Mayor Election according to quick count from Indo Barometer in cooperation with Metro TV.
According to the quick count, the pair received 85.63% votes while their opponent Rasiyo-Lucy Kurniasari only got 14.37%.
Risma urged all parties to stop rivalry and start developing the city. "It is not about winning. It is about how to continue the development so Surabaya could be better and more prosper. For another pair, this is not a defeat. This is normal. no more rivalry," said Risma in a press conference in Surabaya, Wednesday (12/9/2015).
Risma and Whismu said now they will focus on development in Surabaya for the next five years. "Start from tomorrow, we will continue to develop Surabaya," she said.
Whisnu reiterated that all parties must accept the election result. "This victory is victory for all Surabaya people," he said.
