medcom.id, Jakarta: People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) deputy speaker Oesman Sapta Odang has officially replaced Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto as People's Conscience Party (Hanura) chairman.
The party inaugurated Oesman as chairman during an extraordinary congress at the Hanura headquarters in Jakarta on Thursday, December 22, 2016.
The party also inaugurated Wiranto as advisory council head.
"I am surprised. I am still shaking," Oesman said during the extraordinary congress.
"I never lead big party before," he continued.
Oesman will create a new central executive board soon. He will consult with Wiranto and other senior officials.
