medcom.id, Jakarta: The Attorney General Office (AGO) continues to probe in extortion case involving PT Freeport Indonesia (PT FI) and House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto. AGO has examined Setya Novanto's personal secretary, Dina.
Dina was asked for information on Monday (12/14/2015).
"Setya Novanto's personal secretary was examined until 16.00WIB, about the meeting," mentioned the Director of Investigation for Junior Attorney General for Special Crime Fadil Zumhana at the Attorney General's Office (AGO), Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Monday evening.
According to Dina, the initiator of the meeting was not PT Freeport Indonesia CEO, Maroef Sjamsoeddin. "The initiator was not Mr. Maroef," said Fadil quoting Dina.
However, when asked about Novanto as initiator, Fadil didn't answer directly. "More or less like that," explained Fadil.
He said that his office is still probing the CCTV recording at Ritz Carlton Hotel, which was assumed to be the location of the meeting.
"We will explore some more (CCTV)," Fadil concluded.
