medcom.id, Jakarta: A joint search and rescue team located the missing cargo plane in Papua province this morning.
"All four crew members were found dead," said a press release from the National SAR Agency (Basarnas) on Tuesday (11/1).
The team evacuated the bodies with a helicopter. They recovered all bodies before noon.
The DHC4 Caribou plane went missing on Monday (10/31). The plane lost contact during a flight from Timika to Iliga.
The plane is owned by the Puncak regency administration. It is the main logistic transportation in the regency.
