medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo affirmed that cabinet reshuffle is his prerogative. He asked people stop issue about reshuffle.
"Reshuffle is President's prerogative. No one could dictate. It is my prerogative," mentioned Jokowi in Istana Bogor, Sunday (1/3/2016).
Previously, National Mandate Party (PAN) politician Azis Subekti claimed he received valid information cabinet reshuffle will be held in the near future. Azis claimed President Jokowi will give Minister of Transportation position currently held by Ignasius jonan to another PAN politician Taufik Kurniawan.
He also mentioned the Minister of Environment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya will be replaced with PAN member, Asman Asnur.
Meanwhile, PAN deputy chairman Hanafi Rais denied PAN will receive two seats in the cabinet. He underlined the cabinet reshuffle is entirely on the hands of President Joko Widodo.
"If reshuffle happens, it has to be aligned with the president," Hanafi mentioned in a press conference of 'Final Reflection of 2015' in PAN headquarter, South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 29.
