Gov't Delays 10 Executions Due to Unfinished Legal Process

medcom.id, Jakarta: The government conducted third round of executions on Friday (7/29). However, from 14 drug convicts in the list, they only executed four of them.
 
The government only executed Freddy Budiman from Indonesia, Michael Titus Igweh from Nigeria, Humphrey Ejike from Nigeria and Seck Osmane from Senegal.
 
Attorney General M Prasetyo revealed the other 10 drug convicts still have unfinished legal process.

"Only four who can be executed," he said at his office, Jakarta, Friday (7/29/2016).
 
He explained similar thing happened last year. At the time, the government delayed the execution of Philippine drug convict Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso in the eleventh hour.
 
"We received request from the Philippine government. Mary Jane needed as witness," he elaborated.
