Indonesia to Blow Up 30 Illegal Fishing Boats Next Month

medcom.id, Jakarta: Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti has confirmed the government will sink 30 illegal fishing boats next month.
 
"In July 2016, Task Force 115 (anti-illegal fishing task force) will sink 30 boats," she told reporters at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday (6/29/2016).
 
According to her, Task Force 115 has drowned 162 foreign boats to date including 63 vietnamese boats, 43 Philippine boats, 30 Malaysian boats  21 Thai boats as well as one Chinese boat. 

Seprately, President Joko widodo mentioned that the government's anti-illegal fishing policy must give positive impact to national fishery industry.
 
"So, we can improve our exports," he stated.
