medcom.id, Jakarta: President Joko Widodo inaugurated Air Marshal Hadi Tjahajanto as Air Force commander at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, January 17, 2017.
National Armed Forces commander General Gatot Nurmantyo and National Police chief General Tito Karnavian attended the inauguration ceremony.
House of Representatives speaker Setya Novanto and People's Consultative Assembly speaker Zulkifli Hassan also attended the inauguration ceremony.
Hadi graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1986. He graduated from the Air Force Flying School a year later.
He led Adi Sumarmo Air Base in Surakarta, Central Java in 2010. He then led Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base in Malang, East Java in 2015.
Recently, he worked as Defence Ministry inspector general. Previously, he worked as Presidential military secretary.
