medcom.id, Jakarta: Islamic Ummah Forum (FUI) secretary general Muhammad Al-Khaththath has claimed that at least 100 thousand people will join the planned March 31 rally.
"Not less than 100 thousand people," he said in Jakarta on Thursday.
The rally will be held in downtown Jakarta. It will be organized by conservative Muslim groups.
The participants will observe Friday prayer at the Istiqlal Mosque. They then will gather in front of the Presidential Palace.
Many participants will come from outside Jakarta. They will come from various regions.
"Java, Kalimantan and Maluku," he stated.
