medcom.id, Jakarta: Golkar Chairman Setya Novanto and Golkar Advisory Council Head Aburizal Bakrie met with President Joko Widodo in Palace.
"We want to explain our programs as we now support the government," said Novanto in Presidential Palace Complex before the meeting, Tuesday (5/24/2016)
He denied Golkar will ask ministerial positions to Jokowi. "No. Cabinet reshuffle is the president's prerogative," he continued.
He added that Golkar will support the government in the House of Representatives including the Tax Amnesty Draft Bill.
"Regarding tax amnesty, Golkar Party will support it. We understand it is needed to boost state revenue," he concluded.
