medcom.id, Jakarta: Aburizal Bakrie's front of Golkar party declared support to the government during national work meeting. The declaration was read out in front of Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
"Golkar Party declares to support and stand together with the administration of Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla to improve national development in every sector for the welfare of the people," said the national work meeting's deputy chief Yorrys Raweyai in Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC), Jakarta, Monday (1/25/2016).
Previously, Golkar secretary general Idrus Marham denied his party target positions in the cabinet. Idrus claimed his party never discuss about the issue.
"We want to implement our vision. Especially our vision to face the ASEAN Economic Community," revealed Idrus.
Idrus added his party still maintain relations with Red and White Coalition, especially with the Chairman of Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto. Idrus even claimed that Prabowo has understood their decision to join the government.
"And Prabowo said it is good. It is not in grey area," he concluded.
