medcom.id, Jakarta: The Ministry of Law and Human Rights plans to build three special penitentiaries for drug convicts, such as dealers or major drug croupiers in Indonesia.

"We have planned to build three penitentiaries, for the place we have agreed together with BNN (Anti-Drugs Agency) and Criminal Investigation Agency, there will be three prisons," the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna H. Laoly said at the Ministry's Office, Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Monday (6/8/2015).

One of the areas to be built as a correctional facility is in Mount Sindur, Bogor, West Java. "It is almost complete (the construction) there. Dangerous croupiers are to be placed there," he said.

The penitentiary, as stated by the minister, is to be equipped with tight layered security in cooperation with the Police and BNN. As the result, drug distribution from the inside of the facility may be prevented.

"This is a maximum security. There will be three layers. We are inside, and the next layers will be the National Police and BNN. We have K-9. So, there will be no one carrying drugs inside the facility. Communication will also be shut off," he explained. (Eps)
