medcom.id, Jakarta: One civilian died after an Army-owned Bell 205 helicopter crashed in Kalasan district, Sleman regency, Yogyakarta province on Friday (7/8) afternoon.
The civilian was one of the six passengers in the helicopter. National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) spokesperson Sutopo Purwo Nugroho revealed her name is Fransisca Nila Agustin.
Three people were killed and three other were injured in the accident. Except Fransisca, all passengers were military officials.
The Army has not yet issued official statement about the accident.
The helicopter crashed at around 3.14 PM. It flew from Adi Sumarmo Airport in Surakarta at 3 PM. It was expected to arrive at Adi Sucipto in Yogyakarta at 3.19 PM.
