Most Jakartans Happy with Ahok

medcom.id, Jakarta: Most Jakarta citizens are satisfied with the performance of Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), revealed recent survey held by Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
 
The survey showed 67 percent respondent were satisfied with Ahok. Only 29 percent respondent stated otherwise.
 
"The number is quite high. Moreover, Ahok has only been a governor for a year," said CSIS researcher Arya Fernandes at the Pakarti Centre Building, Jakarta, Monday (1/25/2016).
 
According to Arya, there are several factors behind the high public approval,  one of them is opinion that Jakarta has significantly changed under Ahok's leadership.
 
Arya explained that the most significant change felt by the public under Ahok is improved health services followed by infrastructure development and improved bureaucracy services. 
 
However, public were still unsatisfied in several issues. "the crime rate, prostitution and bureaucracy," stated Arya.
 
CSIS asked 400 respondents, all Jakarta residents from various economic classes. The survey was held on January 5-10, 2016.
