Jakarta: Sculptural artwork from the Kamoro tribe, Papua is exhibited at Dharmawangsa Residence, Jakarta on 6-7 December 2019. For two days, art lovers can enjoy a variety of wood art and buy it if interested.

The initiator of the exhibition, Yuli Ismartono, said that the exhibition is deliberately held in Jakarta so that people would know the art from the Kamoro tribe. Moreover, this senior reporter called the statue produced by this indigenous Indonesian tribe as very beautiful.

"If we look, there are so many beautiful works produced by Kamoro tribe artists. But unfortunately, because of the distance from Papua, not many people know about it," Yuli said through a message received by Medcom.id.

Yuli hoped that all levels of society could come to Dharmawangsa Residence to give their appreciation for this exhibition. Therefore, it can be an option for people who want a fun and educational weekend vacation.

"Of course, I hope that there will also be state officials and ambassadors who can come," said Yuli.

The Kamoro tribe art exhibition takes place at the Dharmawangsa Residence, Jakarta on December 6-7, 2019. It is not just a sculpture exhibition, the Kamoro tribe also comes to display their musical abilities through their own musical instruments.
