Intended to showcase Indonesian batik products and expand the promotion of Indonesian batik in New Zealand, this event exhibited indigo-colored batik and kiwi bird motif batik.

During the event, Indonesian Ambassador to New Zealand, Tantowi Yahya praised NZIA and DWP for promoting batik to the New Zealand public.

"With this activity, hopefully more people, especially NZIA members, will learn how to make batik," said the Ambassador in a press release issued on Thursday.
