New York: New York-based graphic designer Natalie Budiman is making a mark as a creative visionary in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries. With a focus on typography, editorial design, packaging, and digital marketing, Natalie brings a unique style and precision to every project, shaping brand identities that captivate audiences worldwide.
 
Natalie also combines a strong academic background with a deep understanding of design principles.
 
Natalie’s journey includes an impressive academic foundation with a BFA in Industrial Design from Columbus College of Art and Design (2017) and an MFA in Graphic Design and Visual Experience from the Savannah College of Art and Design (2020).

Her broad expertise spans illustration, typesetting, web and mobile media design, and social media management -skills that have led her to craft award-winning visuals and successful campaigns for leading brands.
 
"I love creating visual identities and storytelling through design," says Natalie.
 
"It allows me to combine my creative skills with problem-solving and communication, which is why I transitioned from industrial design to graphic design,” Natalie added.

From global experience to iconic brands

Natalie’s professional journey took off in New York as a Lead Designer for The Detox Market, where she played a key role in shaping the visual presence of this clean beauty powerhouse. 
 
She has since lent her talents to Gracious Hospitality Management, where her creative vision was instrumental in the success of Michelin-starred venues like COTE Korean Steakhouse and Undercote, as well as major campaigns such as Taste of Asia and Gold Belly.
 
Before making her mark in New York, Natalie worked across Jakarta and Los Angeles, developing standout branding and visual identities for industries ranging from hospitality to medical services.

One notable project includes her adaptation of Martinizing Dry Cleaning's branding for the Indonesian market, showcasing her skill in tailoring design solutions to fit diverse cultural contexts.
 
"The challenge is making sure the design not only looks beautiful but also effectively communicates the brand’s story and values," Natalie explains.
 
"Every detail matters, and balancing creativity with strategic thinking is the key,” she said.
 
In addition to her full-time roles, Natalie has built a thriving career as a Freelance Designer. Her work spans continents and industries, from live event  production for luxury fashion brands to branding for startups. Her strategic approach to design allows her to create captivating brand experiences, helping businesses across the globe enhance their brand stories.
 
With a portfolio that speaks for itself, Natalie Budiman is a testament to how passion, dedication, and creative vision can shape the world of design.
