medcom.id, Jakarta: Police named artist and dangdut singer, SJ, as suspect for child molestation case. The man sexually abused a boy, DS, 16.
"SJ has been examined by investigators and the status is suspect," mentioned Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Commissioner Ari Cahya Nugraha, Thursday (2/18/2016).
Ari said investigators have acquired more than two evidences against SJ. The artist also has confessed his crime.
Ari mentioned SJ could face 10 years in prison according to the criminal law. "SJ violates article 76 letter e of the criminal code with the penalty of 5 to 10 years in prion and Rp15billion fine," he explained.
SJ could also be charged for violation of Child Protection Law as the victim is under-age.
