medcom.id, Jakarta: Music industry should be adaptive with change. One of the most important change in Indonesian society is the emergence of e-commerce.
Musica Studio and Trinity Optima Production recently opened online shopping stores for its musics and merchandises. They cooperated with local online marketplace, Blibli.com.
"We are trying to follow recent lifestyle. Online shopping has become a lifestyle," said Blibli.com CEO Kusumo Martanto, Jakarta, Wednesday (5/25/2016).
Online shopping will become the main platform for music sales as the number of music stores in Indonesia continue to decline.
"The emergence of digital industry has brought change in the music industry here. E-commerce has become new platform for musicians," added Kusumo.
"CD stores are rarely found now. So, I think it is a good platform," said Yonathan Nugroho, Trinity Optima Production managing director.
Through online shopping, people can buy original musics and merchandises through their gadgets. It hopefully could reduce piracy in the country.
"All products we sell here are original," concluded Gumilang Ramadhan, Musica Studio director.
