Nutrition Therapy Helps Diabetic Patients Control Their Blood Sugar

medcom.id, Jakarta: The number of diabetic patients continue to increase in Indonesia. Diabetes is a condition where the blood contains high level of sugar.
 
Diabetes expert, Dr. Aris Wibudi, explained that diet is not enough to control blood sugar. He advised diabetic patients to undergo nutrition therapy. 
 
The blood sugar level is considered high when it reaches 200 Mg/DL. The condition is called hyperglycemia.
 
Aris explained Vitamin B and D are important nutrition for diabetic patients. Egg yolk contains a lot of Vitamin B, while Vitamin D can be acquired from the morning sun.
 
Aside from that, exercise also crucial to control the stability of blood sugar. "A minimum exercise of 30 minutes per day to prevent fat building," he concluded.
