medcom.id, Jakarta: There are two types of car battery: Wet-cell battery and dry-cell battery.
Wet-cell battery contains a liquid electrolyte. Meanwhile, dry-cell battery contains electrolyte paste.
"When we buy wet-cell battery, the store usually offers to fill the battery with liquid electrolyte," said Toha, a mechanic at Pit Stop auto shop in East Jakarta.
Wet-cell battery requires maintenance. You should refill the battery with liquid electrolyte regularly.
In the other hand, dry-cell battery does not require maintenance. It also would not spill.
