medcom.id, Jakarta: For the first time, HBO leaked the photographs of their latest series, Halfworlds. The eight episode series was directed by Indonesian director Joko Anwar.
Although the airing time is not confirmed, Halfworlds is expected to air by the end of the year.
In a press release received by Metrotvnews.com, Tuesday (8/4/2015), the film tells a story of a hidden world in the alleys and quiet streets of Jakarta, where a relationship between an underground creature Demit and humans occur.
Several big names are involved in the TV series produced by HBO Asia, including Arifin Putra, Reza Rahadian, Adinia Wirasti, Hannah Al-Rashid, Tara Basro, Alex Abbad and Ario Bayu.
Several actors from Singapore and Malaysia were also involved, namely Nathan Hartono and Bront Palarae.
Halfworlds is the fourth series produced by HBO Asia, after Dead Mine (2012), Serangoon Road (2013) and Grace (2014).
