How Much Water Your Body Actually Needs

medcom.id, Jakarta: We often hear that people should drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. Is the information correct?
 
"Each person has different fluid requirements, It depends on the body weight," said neurologist Roeslan Yusni Hasan in Jakarta recently.
 
Roeslan revealed the simple way to count your body's need for fluids, which is 1.5 cc of water times your body weight. If your body weight is 50 kilograms, then you will need 75 cc of water per hour or 1,800 cc of water a day.

For Ramadan, Roeslan advised to consume enough water. However, drinking too much water can also cause problem to your kidneys.
