FODMAP is an acryonim for fermentable, oligosaccharides (fructans), disaccharides (lactose), monosaccharides (fructose) and polyols (sorbitol, xylitol, mannitol).
1. Fruits
Apple, pear, peach, asparagus and artichoke contain a lot of polyols.
2. Beans
Black peas, soy beans and red beans contain a lot of oligosaccharides.
3. Tea leaves
chamomile tea, oolong tea and fennel tea contain a lot of of FODMAPs.
