medcom.id, Jakarta: Actor Reza Rahadian joins the prequel of Habibie & Ainun. The new film, titled as Rudy will hit cinemas on June 25, 2016.
Rudy tells story of former President B.J. Habibie when was 8 to 20 years old.
For Reza, it is one of his biggest challenge in 2016. he was at first worried when offered the role by MD Pictures.
"I am pleased to be involved again in the film. Although, i was at first worried. I was unsure whether I could deliver the role. Because it is phenomenal and difficult role. But Manoj (producer) and Hanung (director) believed me, so okay, I have to step forward. Moreover, Mr. (Habibie) has given his personal blessing," mentioned Reza when met at the SYM Studio, Thursday (1/7/2016).
The film will start production in February 2016, the shooting will be held mostly in Germany and Indonesia.
According to the producer, Manoj Punjabi, Rudy is movie for teenage to adult audiences. It tells the story when Habibie had yet to meet Ainun, his wife, during his college years in Germany.
