medcom.id, Jakarta: From all the awarding events to appreciate Indonesian films, there is a unique one, which is the Maya Awards (Piala Maya).
It is said to be unique because the assessment system used is online. Initially held in 2012, the independent awards carry the theme of "Imajinasia".
The judges come from various profession, such as film observers, artists, academicians, journalist, up to designers. The total judges this year is as many as 467 people.
Awarding night of the Maya Awards 2015 is to be held in Soehanna Hall, Energy Building, Jalan Jendral Sudirman, South Jakarta, in 19 December.
Nominators of the Maya Awards 2015 is spread in 29 categories.
