medcom.id, Jakarta: Comic 8: Casino Kings Part 2 made new record for number of audience. Appearing in 200 screens, Comic 8 Casino Kings Part 2 achieved 130,000 audience on its second day.
"Thank God, another new record. Second day it gets 130,000 audience. It is a great achievement for us," said the producer, Frederica in a written statement received by Metrotvnews.com, Saturday (3/5/2016).
In the first day, the film achieved 105,000 audience. Frederica revealed for the third day, the number of screens for Comic 8 Casino Kings Part 2 are added to 316 screens.
"With such results, Comic 8: Casino Kings is predicted to break one million audience in the next couple of weeks," she stated.
The achievement is welcomed by several comics starring in the film, such as Ernest Prakasa, Bintang Timur and Arie Keriting.
"Breaking record on the first day, @Comic8TheMovie Casino Kings Part 2 adds up to two hundred screens in movie theatres. Crazy!" wrote Ernest in his Twitter account.
"Friends, thank you for the support. Two days of screening, #Comic8CasinoKings part 2 has been viewed by around 235,000 people. Alapiyu (I love you)," said Bintang.
"First day 105,000, second day 130,000. Thank you for your love. #Comic8CasinoKingsPart2," tweeted Arie Keriting.
