medcom.id, Jakarta: While it was confirmed that Bon Jovi will perform at Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta on September 11, just like other global rock acts, the gig also accompanied by some interesting news.
The rocker, which has an image far away from women, drugs, and alcohol (maybe some long time ago), has a specific request in his tour rider during his visit to Jakarta.
As revealed by Dewi Gontha, from Live Nation Indonesia, the promoter who brought Bon Jovi, there are two things that are required by the management of the band from New Jersey, namely coffee and ENT specialist.
"In addition to coffee and ENT doctor, the rest is just as common request," Dewi said, in Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday (6/18/2015).
But Dewi wasn't sure when asked further about the type of coffee which prompted the rocker. "We would like to introduce Indonesian coffee if they (Bon Jovi) agree, and I personally wish they would try our coffee," Dewi said, with a grin. Dewi Gontha also known for her business lines in food & beverage.
Unlike other musicians who bring their own stage equipment, Bon Jovi team planned to play in Gelora Bung Karno using rigs and music gear from Indonesia. This will facilitate the mobility of a team of 39 people.
In regards of Bon Jovi's request for coffee, it wasn't popped up without reason. Apparently, the management team, including Jon Bon Jovi, are coffee addict. Everyday, 900 cups of coffee made during their tour.
