medcom.id, Singapore: Around 250 Indonesian artists will perform in the Chingay Parade in Singapore.
The festival will take place on February 10-11. It will involve around 8,000 participants. It will showcase around 2,500 attractions.
"Indonesia is one the largest contingents," Chingay Parade chairman Nah Juay Hng said in Singapore on Thursday.
Indonesia will be represented by Institut Seni Indonesia Denpasar, Universitas Medan, Sanggar Tari Boyolali and other art groups.
Chingay Parade is an annual event in Singapore. It is a Lunar New Year tradition in the country.
"Chingay Parade can inspire us," Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong stated.
