medcom.id, Jakarta: Joyful atmosphere was felt in Bandung's Female Penitentiary when 26 female inmates wore beautiful dresses to compete in beauty pageant competition.
They were competing for Miss Unipas (Miss Penitentiary) title. Each participant showed their beatiful dresses in the catwalk.
The penitentiary held the event to commemorate the Prison Services Day and Kartini Day. The event livened up the atmosphere in the prison.
"It is for the prison services day. We hold the Miss Unipas event," said the Head of Female Penitentiary Class II Bandung, Sutra Duma on Tuesday, (4/12/2016).
Sutra added the inmates were also given information on modeling. These inmates are between 20 to 40 years of age.
"We entertain the women to make them happy," Sutra concluded.
