Wet Brake Pads During Rainy Season

medcom.id, Jakarta: Drivers should pay attention to brake pads during rainy season.
 
"If you drive through flooded streets, you should be careful," said Toha, a mechanic from Pit Stop auto shop in East Jakarta.
 
He mentioned wet brake pads have lower effectiveness. He recommended to step on the brake slowly to test the brake pads.

He also suggested to step on the brake repeatedly to dry the brake pads. It should be appllied until the brake pads function normally.
